The Los Angeles Business Journal held its 19th annual Women Making a Difference Awards Luncheon on May 25, 2010.  The celebration honors Los Angeles based women who lead by example, successfully blending effective business vision with a passionate commitment to positively making a difference in both the world of business and in the communities they serve.

Janet Halbert was selected as Volunteer of the Year for her work assisting cancer patients.
